I’ve had very little free time the last couple of weeks, hence the lack of posts, but Courtney Vail had an excellent question in the comments to my series on how I found an agent, which I wanted to address.
Here are some of the sites to reference when putting together a list of questions to ask agents who offer representation. A lot of the information is the same, but there are some different points on each list:
When Agents Offer Representation… (AgentQuery.com List)
What should you do if you find an agent? (Association of Authors’ Representatives, Inc.)
Guest Blog: Ginger Clark on How to Handle an Offer of Representation on Nathan Bransford’s blog
Sarah Ockler’s Blog: Literary Agent Offers: Don’t Settle!
I’m sure there are other really good lists of questions out there that I looked at and can’t find now. Please send me your recommendations and I’ll expand this list! Thanks!
Thanks for these links!
Nice to see you’re still around
Hi Writing Runner! Thanks for including the link to my Literary Agent post. Best of luck with your new novel as well as the marathon training – in some ways, the two are a lot alike.
Thanks for compiling the links.
